Gmail for domains suddenly a lot less attractive

I use Gmail for my swduncan.com domain. It’s been an awesome service, even at $50/yr, with the best spam filtration of any email service I’ve used. I love the lack of folders and the speed of the search.

I decided it was time to ditch my old password in favor of something new, and reset it on my google account yesterday.

Google doesn’t like it when you change your password.

Ever since, the only way I can log in to my gmail account is to go to the web site. Neither my Blackberry nor my Mac can log in. At first I figured it was just a sync issue – surely some server just hadn’t gotten my new password yet. But the old password doesn’t work either. So I can’t move forward, and I can’t move backward.

I really didn’t expect this kind of nonsense from Google. Their stuff usually just works. It doesn’t usually have this kind of basic problem. Am I the only one to change their password?!?
