Bird’s eye view of the world

I happened across this site for satellite imagery, where for about $30 a year you can get access to satellite photography for the entire world. At least, with 1km resolution. Areas with 2 foot and 1 foot resolution are more scarce.

Still, with the animation capabilities this product from Keyhole.com (now owned by Google) has to be the coolest way to learn geography.

They have a 7-day trial, which is definitely worth checking out.
